Circa 2005

In an on-going effort to put my years of photography online, I thought I would share some shots I took while on a trip to London in 2005. I spent a few days walking the city, and had a wonderful time.

This was well before I bought my Nikon D800, so this series was shot one of several older cameras I had back then. I’m only going to make one or two available as limited edition prints. (as soon as my shop is online)

I only had about an hour in the Westminster Abbey area and I could have spent all week shooting the Abbey itself. There is so much to see, and so much detail, much like the city itself. I don’t even recall going inside, just spent my time looking for interesting angles.

Even back in 2005, I marveled at London’s future/past aesthetic. The architecture is an obvious example, but they are many more subtle examples. The financial district has only grown ‘taller’ and more wild it’s skyline. I can’t wait to visit again.
